A blond is a beer with a golden yellow color. In principle, a blond beer is of top fermentation, blond beers of bottom fermentation are usually referred to as pils or dort. Just as with these bottom-fermented beers, light malts such as pilsner malt are used for blond beer. The alcohol percentage can vary.
